Ilam; A citizen was sentenced to imprisonment, flogging and additional punishment
A citizen named "Mehdi Sadeghi", one of the detainees of the Ilam protests, was sentenced to six months in prison, 74 lashes and banned from leaving the country by Branch 103 of the 2nd Criminal Court of this city on the charge of "disturbing public order and peace".
Another case has been filed against this citizen in the Revolutionary Court of Ilam on charges of "insulting sacred things", "confounding the public mind", and "acting against national security".
Mehdi Sadeghi was arrested by the security forces on October 12th during the protests in Ilam and was transferred to the detention center of the Intelligence Bureau of this city.
After the interrogation, this Kurdish citizen was transferred from the detention center of the Ilam Intelligence Bureau to the central prison of this city and was temporarily released from prison on November 23rd after posting a bail of 300 million tomans.
During his detention, he was denied access to any lawyer and visits to his family.
