Kurdpa Agency: Zhavarud\'s spring ceremony in Sanandaj was canceled by the pressure of intelligence forces and the Revolutionary Guards.
According to a report by the Kurdistan Press Agency, on Friday, May 3rd, Zhavarud\'s spring ceremony was canceled with the interference of intelligence forces and Revolutionary Guards forces in Kochka soor, Avihang, Sanandaj.
According to an informed source, intelligence forces and Revolutionary Guards troops raided the place of ceremony and prevented to hold it.
This source added that a number of civil society activists include: Tariq Rahimpour, Ghane Rezaie, Mokhtar Karim Afshar, Ghafoor Yari and Adib khodayar, were summoned to the Sanandaj Intelligence Bureau and threatened.
This source said that the intelligence forces have warned the civil society activists for holding such a ceremony.
This informed source stated the intelligence forces have threatened the singers with telephone calls to refrain from attending the ceremony.
