Yosef Kakami was released from prison

Kurdpa Agency: A Kurdish political prisoner from Mahabad has been released from Tabriz Central Prison after completion of his sentence.
According to a report by the Kurdistan Press Agency, a Kurdish political prisoner, Yosef Kakami, son of Osman, from Mahabad, was released from Tabriz Prison after completion of his sentence.
This political prisoner was arrested in October 24th, 2007, and according to the Kakami\'s family, Yosef had no lawyer at all, had been under pressure and interrogated in solitary confinement at the Urmia Ettelaat Bureau and had denied all charges in the interrogation and trial.
After being interrogated, he was transferred to Mahabad Prison and sentenced to 9 years imprisonment in February 2008 by the first district of the Urmia Revolutionary Court on charges with \"cooperating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties of Iran\". in summer of 2008, this political prisoner was transferred from Mahabad Prison to Urmia Central Prison.
On April 13th, 2015, this political prisoner was transferred to district 6 of the Urmia Revolutionary Court for interrogation and a new case was filed against him for propaganda against the regime.
He was sentenced to 5 years in prison that same year for sending a letter to Ahmad Shahid, the UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights.
On March 20th, this Kurdish political prisoner was summoned to the Gard Bureau on the pretext of being sent out of Urmia Prison and taken to Tabriz Central Prison without being allowed to take his own stuff.
