Wurme: Husband Kills His Wife

Kurdpa: A Kurdish woman from Wrume (West Azarbaijan) Province in Eastern Kurdistan was shot and killed by her husband.
According to the information received by Kurdistan Press Agency, Kurdpa, the 28-year-old woman died due to pellet gunshot wounds.
According to witnesses, ’J. Ch’, the husband of the victim, shot and killed her. A source close to the family reported a history of domestic violence and disputes between the couple. Witnesses further reported that the husband has abducted their 3-year-old daughter and left the Eastern Kurdistan Region for Turkey.
People in the area have reported that before moving to Mirgawar, the couple was originally from the village of Hilaj.
