Whereabouts of a father and son still unknown after ten days

Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa): The situation of a father and son arrested by Iranian intelligence forces in Saghez is unknown.

According to reliable sources, The Whereabouts of Sedigh Rahmanzadeh, 45, and his son, Osama Rahmanzadeh, 15, are still unknown after ten days from their arrests.

Sedigh Rahmanzadeh and his son, Osman Rahmanzadeh, were both arrested by Iranian Intelligence Service on the 31st of October.

Their unknown whereabouts and condition has raised concern among their family to whom the Iranian Intelligence Service in Saghez has not given any information regarding their concern.

Sedigh Rahmani has a religious manner which suggests that the probability of their being charged with allegation related to having somewhat connection with Islamic groups is high, a reliable source told our reporter.

On October 30, Dr. Hiwa Hafidi, a previous university lecturer, from the city of Mahabad, was captured by Iranian Intelligence Service in Mahabad.

Hiwa’s whereabouts is uknown which has raised concern among his family and relatives.

Hiwa Hafidi, who holds a Ph.D. in Arab Literature, was dismissed from his job as a university professor lecturing in Ghazvin University due to security reasons six years ago since when he has been officially banned from any cultural activity as well as teaching.
