Weekly Report on Human Rights Violation at Iranian Kurdish Areas

For the sake of revealing human rights violation, Kurdistan Press Agency attempts to issue and publish a report twice a month under the name of ‘Perspective of the Week’

In the report of the second week of July cases of human rights violations at the Kurdish inhabitants in Iran such as execution, imprisonment, conditions of political prisoners and custody of the Kurdish residents are highlighted.

Latest related cases of execution sentences at Kurdish areas

Including 4 Kurdish citizens in the prisons of Kirmashan and Ardebeel , the statistics of executed kurds in Iran within 100 days ago, reaches 24 persons.

According to Iranian Governmental mass media, on Monday, 7th of July 3 citizens were ordered to be executed in Dizel Abas prison by the judiciary system of Islamic republic of Iran who were in charge of murdering transiting drugs.

In a recorded statistics from the statistical center of Kurdistan Press Agency, at the beginning of this year till now 24 kurdish citizens were executed in Iran.

Also, in accordance with a report from Kurdistan Press Agency, the 2013 year 56 kurds citizens were executed in Iran’s prisons and 23 more citizens were sentences to death by house of court.

According to Amnesty International the executed prisoners were not allowed to have defendant and were kept in single persons jails for months.

From the beginning of this month till now 3 kurdish citizens were sentenced to death by judiciary system.

On Saturday 5th of July, Sanandaj revolutionary house of justice –first brunch, has sentenced one year imprisonment for a man whose name is ‘Khalid Huseini’

He was sentenced without being present in the court. It was said that by the regime he propagandas against the regime. Khalid Huseini was a labor activist and a member of collaboration committee for establishing a labor organization.

It worthies mentioning that in the current month 2 more Kurdish labor activists and member of collaborating committee for founding labor organizations whose names were ‘Wafa Qaderi’ and ‘Behzad Farajullahi’ were sentenced one year imprisoned.

Latest conditions of Kurdish political prisoners

A Kurdish political prisoner as a sign of objection to neglecting his medical treatments covered his entire face with cement.

‘Muhemed Ameen Agushi’ a Kurdish political prisoner in the Zahidan central prison 10 days ago in resistance to ignoring his medical treatment and kept him in jail went on strike.

In addition to that he resisted his maltreatment as he was promised to be done to his sickness covered his entire face with cement.

It is said that due to hunger strike his health is getting worse and worse
He and his companions ‘Iraj muhemmedi’ and ‘Ahmed Pooladkhani’ from Piranshahr were accused of spying for Kurdistan regional government and in connection with a crime of helping one of Kurdish opposition parties arrested in 2007.

Informing and arresting Kurdish civilians

Continuously informing and arresting artistic, political and civic Kurdish activists from Kurdish inhabitant areas.

On 5th of July, Iranian intelligent services were arrested ‘Sameen Zarexhi’ Bahaee citizen who was living in Sanandaj.

A little while ‘Sama Raufee’ another Bahaee citizen who was living in Sanandaj was arrested by Intelligent forces and after keeping him one month in single jails released.

Former member of the city committee was arrested
On Monday 8th of July “Shahen Bayazidy” member of the second round of the city committee and one of the founders of the Handicap organization was arrested by intelligent forces.

In regard to that issue, after the elections of city and village committees, in June a massive number of candidates such as “Khosraw Salehi, Yousif Salehi, Luqman Saeedi, Ashas Jamyany, Masoud Mahmoody, Sabir Falaky, Sleman Mamzanbily, Zhian Rostamy, Shorsh Dehban, Mahdi Xodaee, Farhad Kamalaee, Abdullah Bahrami, Saeed Ahmed Huseini, Umed Kurda and Abdulla Allaee” after complaining about the forgery in committee elections were asked by the Intelligence forces and threatened.

A Kurdish Citizen was arrested by Intelligent Forces

On July the 6th a Kurdish citizen whose name is “Qadir Zarihi” 27 years old from Piranshar in his father-in-law arrested and brought to Department of Information.
It is said that he was a member of an opposition party.

Call of a labor activist to the court

Once on July 13th and another time on August “Hamid Mahmoodinjad” was called to Islamic Revolution Court and asked to show himself off.

The mentioned person was asked two more times by security forces accused of acting against national security arrested and asking for 50 million toman bail get free from prison.

According to statistics recorded in Kurdistan Press Agency, from thr beginning of the year so far,86 kurdish citizens arrested and 45 more were called to the department of information.

Recent reports from victims of landmines planted in the Kurdish areas

On Friday 7th of July, on Hajiomeran Border \"Bayazid Qaitaran\" from Naqada because of the mine has lost a leg.

According to a source that citizen was a Trylyr driver because of mine explosion which was remnant of Iran- Iraq war lost one leg and to be treated medically moved to Erbil.

According to statistics recorded in statistics center of Kurdistan Press Agency, from the beginning of this year till now 17 kurdish citizens from various kurdish areas were dead due to the remnant explanatory of Iraq Iran war. Consequently 5 were dead and 12 severely injured.
