Two Iranian Kurds were arrested on their way back form Iraqi Kurdistan

Kurdpa: Two Kurdish youth from the city of Mariwan (western-Iran in Kurdistan province) were arrested by the intelligence agents on the border on their way back to Iran from Iraqi Kurdistan.
According to reports reached Kurdpa, Wurya Faraji and Pishtiwan Afsari both 25-year old were arrested on Friday, June 8th at ‘Piran’ border crossing between Iran and Iraqi Kurdistan.
Kurdpa has learned from an acquaintance of the arrested that Wurya Faraji was working in Iraqi Kurdistan and the other arrested had come to Iraqi Kurdistan to go back with him to Mariwan, Iranian Kurdistan.
So far there is no information on the whereabouts of the two individuals; however, a family friend of Wurya Faraji had told Kurdpa that the intelligence folks had been pursuing him, and they had even searched his house to look for him.
Data compiled by Kurdpa indicate since the beginning of spring of this year, 29 people from the Kurdish areas have been arrested by the various forces of the regime of Islamic Republic of Iran.
