Transfer of a Kurdish citizen to Sanandaj prison to serve his sentence

On Wednesday, April 22nd, a Kurdish citizen named Farooq Khani from the village of Sharifabad, Divandarreh, was transferred to Sanandaj Prison to serve his sentence.
This citizen was detained by security forces on September 12th, 2019 and was temporarily released on after 15th day of interrogation.
Farooq Khani was sentenced to one year in prison by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Sanandaj late last year, presided over by Judge Saeedi, on charges of "membership in one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government". and in appealing court his sentence was reduced to 7 months.
