Three Kurdish citizens put under arrest

Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdspa): Three other Kurdish citizens were arrested as the mass arrests following the Kurdish people’s public strike continue.

According to reliable sources, three Kurdish citizens, Saleh Pashayi, Sadegh Pashayi and Khosrow Qodrat, all of them from Shno (Oshnavieh), were arrested by the Iranian Intelligence Service on September 13, 2018.

Arresting them, the Iranian Intelligence forces have held the three detainees in the hot sun handcuffed and blindfolded, our source reported.

They have been charged with ‘supporting the Kurdish people’s public strike’.

In Mariwan, two human rights activists, Soran Daneshwar and Aram Fathi whom had been arrested in the day of the public strike, were transferred to Etelate Sepah Office’ detention place to being put under interrogation. Aram Fathi was released on bail today.

Iranian Intelligence Service put dozens of Kurdish citizens under arrest following the Kurdish people’s Public strike on the 12th of September.
Our agency has previously reported of dozens arrests took place in several cities of Rojhelat (Eastern Kurdistan).

On September 12, 2018, Kurdish people went on public strike.

Following the Iran’s missile attacks and the execution of three Kurdish political prisoners on the 8th of September, the Cooperation Center of Iranian Kurdistan’s Political Parties called on Kurdish people in Rojhelat (Eastern Kurdistan) to stage a general strike in Iranian Kurdistan.

By closing their shops, people in major cities including Sna (Sanandaj), Urmia, Sawlawa (Saroabad), Saqqez, Bokan (Bookan), Bana (Baneh), Pawa (Paweh), Kamyaran, Sadasht, Piranshar (Piranshahr) and Shno (Oshnavieh) answered the call.
