Three backpack carriers were killed and wounded in Urmia border region

Kurdpa agency: Iranian Military forces shot at group of backpack carrier in Margawer region of Urmia.
According to Kurdpa, two days ago during the evening, one backpack carrier was shot dead by Iranian military forces in Dalamper mountainous area. Kurdpa correspondent has identified the victim, named Lezgin Shabani from Kolabi Village. He was allegedly a married man who resorted to backpacking to make money for his family.
Further to this news another two backpack carriers named Amin and Babak Shabani were severely wounded. They were transferred to the hospital for medical treatment. Upon receiving this report the family of Lezgin Shabani yet to receive his body.
Backpacking is the most dangerous job in Iranian Kurdistan. This job is the only source of making money for many Kurdish communities in Iran.
Due to the lack of government investment scheme, manufacturing and industry sites in the Iranian Kurdistan, unemployment rate is high therefore many people have to turn to backpacking for doing business.
This year more than 50 Kurdish citizens of Iran were shot dead or wounded by state authority arm forces.
