The Urmia prison authorities executed a Kurdish citizen

Kurdpa agency: The execution of a Kurdish prisoner was carried out in the presence of the judicial authorities and other officials in Urmia central ‘s prison.
According to a report received by Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa), Khalid Amini, a Kurdish citizen from Mahabad was executed in the Urmia Central prison on Tuesday 15, August.
Mr. Amini was sentenced to death by hanging by the Iran judiciary court for murder, and spent the last several days of his life in solitary confinement.
Khalid Amini along with his brother Fatah Amini were both transferred to solitary confinement while awaiting their sentencing in the beginning of August. Fatah Amini, Khalid’s brother was along with two other Kurds from Urmia executed in the beginning of August.
Hamza Rahimpour, another Kurd from Sardasht was also executed on August 8 on drug related charges.
