The re-arrest of Suleiman Salek, a citizen from Mahabad
On Thursday, August 18th, a 69-year-old Kurdish citizen named "Suleiman Salek" from Mahabad was arrested again after being summoned to the Piranshahr Revolutionary Court.
According to an informed source, the security forces summoned this citizen to the Piranshahr Revolutionary Court under the pretext of signing the case and then arrested him and transferred him to an unknown place.
On Saturday, August 13th, this Kurdish citizen was temporarily released from Naqdeh prison by posting a bail of three billion tomans.
On Wednesday, August 3rd, this Kurdish citizen was transferred from one of the security detention centers in Urmia to Naqdeh prison after the interrogation.
Mr. Salek was deprived of "access to a lawyer" and "meeting with his family" during his detention.
On Tuesday, June 28th, this Kurdish citizen was arrested by the security forces on the Piranshahr - Mahabad road without any court order.
So far, no detailed information has been obtained about the reason for the arrest and the charges against Suleiman Salek.
