Summoning and arresting members of the women's band "Glaris" in Kermanshah

On Saturday, January 16th, two members of the Kermanshah "Glaris" women's band, Nazanin Atabaki and Nastaran Yazdanipour, were arrested after being summoned to the Kermanshah security police and interrogated for several hours.

These two singles members of the Kermanshah "Glaris" women's band were temporarily released on bail the same day after the end of the interrogation.

In recent days, Maliheh Moradi, Nastaran Yazdani-Pour, Nazanin Atabaki, Samira Farahnaki and Elham Yazdani-Pour, members of the Kermanshah "Glaris" women's band, have been summoned several times to the Kermanshah security police and given a written commitment.

Kermanshah Security Police has taken obligatory underwrite  commitment from the members of the Kermanshah "Glaris" women's music group that they will no longer participate in commercials.

It was reported on Sunday the 17th of January, Hassan Heydari, the head of the Kermanshah Security Police, without mentioning the name of the "Glaris" women's band, arrested two women for "singing a song ordered by one of the guilds and for the purpose of propaganda by one of the Kermanshah propaganda centers.

Last year, Marjan Karamjani, another member of the Glaris band, was banned by security forces in Kermanshah.

The women's band "Glaris" was established in Kermanshah in 2017 and it is active in the field of folk and traditional music and has held several concerts in Sulaymaniyah, Kafri, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari and Kermanshah.
