Simko Khlqati Went on Food Strike in Solitary Room

Kurdistan Press Agency: ‘’Simko Khlqati’’ Kurdish Political Prisoner from Mahabad city went on food strike in Rajayi Prison in Karaj.
According to the achieved report by Kurdistan Press Agency; on Friday, 31 January, Simko Khlqati went on food strike after being transferred to solitary cell in the prison.
An aware source from Rajayi Prison of Karaj spoke to Kurdistan Press; Simko Khlqati has told the officials of the prison that he will continue on his food strike till the day he gets released.

This Kurdish Engineer has been arrested on 18th January, 2010 in internal center of Arak, and was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment later in Revolutionary Court of Arak. To be mentioned, the decision was later confirmed by Reinvestigation Court.
Smko who is married and father of 4 years old kid has been spending 4 years and 14 days of his imprisonment in Rajayi Prison of Karaj so far.
This Kurdish Political Prisoner has achieved Metalogy Engineering Certificate in ‘’Sanaat Sharif’’ Univeristy in Tehran. He has been arrested by the Intelligence Forces of Iranian Islamic Government accused of colliding with one of the Kurdish Opposition Parties while working as an engineer in Internal Center of Arak.
