Sardasht; Shahriar Adeli has died due to being torture by security
A Kurdish citizen named "Shahriar Adeli", 27 years old, son of Abdur Rahim from Sardasht, died due to severe torture in the detention center of the Intelligence Department of this city.
One of the relatives of this citizen told Kudpa: Shahriar Adeli was arrested by the security forces in front of his house on the morning of Tuesday, November 22nd, on the charge of participating in the protests, and was taken to the detention center of the Sardasht Intelligence Department for questioning.
This informed source added: On Saturday, the 3rd of December, this citizen was severely beaten up and tortured by the security forces while he was released on bail and in the detention center.
This informed source stated: The marks of beating and bruises were evident on the body of this citizen, and after his temporary release, he was taken to Sardasht Hospital for medical treatment.
This informed source stated: On the evening of Thursday, December 8th, Shahriar Adeli died due to stomach bleeding and severe torture by the security forces in the hospital.
This informed source said: After the security forces were informed that Shahriar Adeli died in the hospital, his family threatened to announce the cause of their child's death as cardiac arrest.
This informed source admitted: the security forces threatened Adeli's family to remain silent and refuse to interview the media regarding the issue of their son's death.
On Friday, the 9th of December, the burial ceremony of the body of Shahriar Adeli was held in Sardasht with the presence of security forces and his family.
