Sanandaj; Kiomars Latifi was arrested by security forces

 A Kurdish citizen named "Kiomars Latifi", 41, from Sanandaj was arrested by security forces on Tuesday, February 15th.

 According to an informed source, security forces arrested the citizen without issuing any court order and on charges of "collaborating with a Kurdish opposition party of the Iranian government."

 The informed source added: Mr. Latifi has been living secretly outside Sanandaj for six months due to threats and pressure from security forces.

 The informed source stated: the security forces had repeatedly referred to the houses of his relatives and acquaintances to arrest this citizen.

 The source said that during these six months, the security forces had installed CCTV cameras on one of the electric poles in front of his personal house to arrest Kiomars Latifi.

 Kiomars Latifi was a Kurdish civil activist and teacher, and was previously a member of the Sanandaj Moalvi Association.

 Mr. Latifi was also arrested on September 2019 on charges of "collaborating with a Kurdish opposition party of the Iranian government," and was released on bail on December 26th of that year.
