Perspective of the Week’ Within one month 65 cases of Human Rights Violation at Iranian Kurdish Areas

For the sake of revealing human rights violation, Kurdistan Press Agency attempts to issue and publish a report twice a month under the name of ‘Perspective of the Week’

In the last week of July 2013, a weekly report issued by Kurdistan Press Agency deals with 14 cases of human rights abuses in the Kurdish regions, including 6 deaths and wounded civilians and civil weights holder suspected of carrying contraband, 2 Kurdish political prisoners in poor condition 1 arrest and 5 dismissals of university professors student activists in this area and travelling abroad.



Overview of human rights violations during July 2013:

Checking the latest reports suggest a direct shot at civilians and the military forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran on weight holders:

“Ahmed Tamuee” Kurdish Political Activist

Reviewing the recent reports of the detention of citizens in the Kurdish areas of Iran:


Detention of a Bukany citizen whose name is “Muheedamin Hishmaty” by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s forces.

He is Ahmed’s son and from Qarinja Buchuk Village which belongs to Bukan city on the twentieth of July on his work was captured by forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Since his detention no information is announced.

Also, in dependent to recorded data in the Central Statistics of Kurdistan Press Agency, during July 2013, 33 Kurdish civilians have been detained by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This statistics is relative and depending on the recorded statistics in Kurdistan Press Agency, the actual figure is probably higher than the number mentioned.

Five University Professors were fired and a former university activist student was banded t travel abroad:


“Mansur Sohraby” PhD in the field of agriculture
During the last week 3 professors at the Azad Eslamu University who are “YounisYazdanparast, Imam Shafi\'i jurisprudence doctorate degree”, “Wrya Hafidi, Quran Sciences PhD ” and “ Msur Sohraby”, Ph.D. in the field of agriculture have been deprived of the right to teaching at the university.

Also “Hiwa Hafidi” who has a doctorate in Arabic literature professor and university instructor and “Haza Haji” PhD degree Quran and Hadith and the instructor of Payamy Noor University located in Piranshahir, have informed by the Office of Information no longer have the right to teach.
According to a source, security forces of Islamic Republic of Iran has announced that five professor have been expelled due to security reasons.

The same source stated that Dr. YounisYazdanparast after firing by security forces in Mahabad summoned and interrogated for two days and was arrested.

On the other hand, a former student activist and honorary member of the Lawyers Association, Commission on Human Rights, Kermanshah has been prohibited o travel abroad by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
