Omid Marouf was sentenced to two years in prison

 A Kurdish citizen named "Omid Marouf" from the village of "Aliabad" in the Oshnavieh district was sentenced to two years in prison by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of this city, headed by Judge "Rezaei".

 The citizen's trial was held last year in Branch 1 of the Oshnavieh Revolutionary Court, and the court charged him with "collaborating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government."

 This sentence was officially announced to Mr. Marouf on Sunday, March 27th.

 Omid Marouf was transferred from one of the security detention centers in Urmia to Oshnavieh Prison in  early January 2021, after completing his interrogation period, he was released on bail on January 20 of the same year until the end of the trial.

 On Tuesday, December 15, 2020, security forces raided the citizen's private home and arrested him without issuing any court order.
