Kurdish political prisoner ‘’ Sherko Maarefi’’ got executed

Kurdpa Agency: In an extension of the path of executing Kurdish political prisoner to death penalty, ‘Sherlo Maarefi’’ got executed in the central prison of Mahabad.
An aware source confirmed this news and informed Kurdpa Agency: In the morning of today Monday 3rd of November, the sentenced of ‘’ Sherko Maarefi’’ to be executed in the Saqez Prison was fulfilled.
‘’Xalil Bahrmanian’’ the lawyer of this prisoner in a phone call told Kurpda reporter; ‘’ I haven’t been informed of this case so far, so I can’t confirm this news now.’’
He also said; ‘’ we already demanded for forgiveness, but the Supreme Court of country didn’t approve of it.’’
‘’Sherko’’ Kurdish Political prisoner was arrested in Bana in July 9, 2008, and later on he was sentenced to death penalty by the branch 1 of Inqillab court of Saqez with the supervision of ‘’Shayaq’’ because of his membership in one of the Opposition parties of Islamic Government.
‘’Sherko Maarefi ‘’ execution had been confirmed by the investigation court and the Supreme Court of the country. Despite all the attempts by his two lawyers’’ Xalil Bahramyan, and Ahmad Saaid Shexi’’, after being in prison for 5 years, he was executed in the morning of today Morning in the central prison of Saqez.
