Kurdish political activist detained and transferred to “Berjend” prison

Kurdpa Agency: A Kurdish political activist from Bokan detained and transferred to “Berjend” prison.
Based on reports received from Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa), last week, “Mohammad Amin Abdollahi” Kurdish political activist was arrested by the Intelligence forces in Bokan and transferred to “Berjend” to serve his sentence.
An informed source told Kurdpa that “This Kurdish political activist was previously released from prison due to his illness and was later detained by the Intelligence forces once again.
This Kurdish political activist was first detained 13-years ago and sentenced to 18-years imprisonment on charges of “cooperating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Islamic Republic of Iran.” He went on a hunger strike three years ago in protest of the authorities’ decision to deprive him of the right to leave and requesting to be transferred to a prison in his home town.
