Kurdpa Agency: A Kulbar from Piranshar lost a leg due to a mine-explosion.
Based on reports received by Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa), on the evening of 13 May, \"Rahman Rasouli Azar\" son of \"Khalid\" from the village of \"Gulawi\" in Piranshar was seriously wounded due to a mine explosion. Mr. Rasouli Azar lost a leg and is currently under doctors supervision in Erbil.
Many of the Kurds living in the border region of Iranian Kurdistan take up Kulbari, a high-risk job in order to provide for their poor families.
The people of Kurdistan have for decades lived under the poverty line due to the discriminatory policies and practices of the Iran regime. There are to date little to no viable economic infrastructure and employment in the Kurdistan region. There is, furthermore, no one particular law to protect Kulbars from harm\'s way.
Too many Kulbar end up shot and killed by the Iran regime forces. While many others freeze to death or fall to their death. Others yet end up killed or seriously wounded due to mine blasts.
