Kurdpa Agency: A Kurdish civil activist has gone into hiding due to fears of Iran intelligence forces.

According to a report received by Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa), Kurdish civil rights activist “Shahryar Tahmasebi” from Krmashan (Kermanshah) has gone into hiding after the intelligence forces attacked his house.

A source close to this Kurdish civil activist told Kurdpa: “on Tuesday 12 May, the intelligence forces raided Shahryar Tahmasebi’s house for the third time. He has accordingly gone into hiding fearing detention and arrest.

The source also added that the whereabouts of “Shahryar Tahmasebi” is to date unknown.

He also added that “there is a real possibility that Shahryar Tahmasebi has left the country.\"

Shahryar Tahmasebi was initially charged with cooperation with a Kurdish opposition party to the Iran regime and was accordingly sentenced to five years imprisonment on the basis of article 500 of the Islamic Penal Code in the Krmashan (Kermanshah) Revolutionary Court. The intelligence forces arrested \"Shahryar Tahmasebi\" on such related charges.

Shahriar Tahmasebi was arrested in 2017 during a gathering protesting the killing of Kulbar, and in support of the people of Bane by the intelligence agents. He was temporarily released on a bail of 100-million Toman back in 2017.
