Kurdish activist summoned by the public prosecutor’s office and Revolutionary Court in Sna (Sanandaj)

Kurdpa Agency: The Public Prosecutor and the Revolutionary Court in Sna (Sanandaj) summoned a Kurdish civil rights activist.

According to a report received by Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa), civil rights activist “Mukhtar Zarei” from Sna “Sanandaj” was summoned to the second branch of the Public Prosecutor, and the Revolutionary Public Prosecutor\'s Office in Sna (Sanandaj).

The civil rights activist wrote in his personal channel in Telegram that “after writing a letter to the Supreme Leader criticizing some of the key human rights violations and abuses, as well as some of the key non-democratic actions and policies taking place in the country; and the lack of responsibility and accountability in the country for the duration of the past three decades that he has been at the highest level of power, the revolutionary court opened another case against the Kurdish civil rights activist.

\"\"The Kurdish civil rights activist writes in his letter that his “explanation regarding some of the key issues taking place in the country may convince the prosecutor, but his explanations do not convince me nor silence me.”

As “I predicted at the beginning of this letter” writes “this Kurdish civil rights activist” in his letter may warrant me “an arrest and imprisonment are probable, but not workable. I will be interrogated at the beginning of next week, and I will defend my freedom of speech with my lawyer Dr. Rashidi, but I would like to congratulate Dr. Shariati on hearing from him.

Mokhtar Zarei, a member of the Kurdish Democratic Union, was arrested during the winter of 88 during the ceremony of the second anniversary of the abduction of Ebrahim Lotfollahi and spent three months at the Detention Center of Sna (Sanandaj) Information Office.

Previously, this Kurdish citizen was sentenced to one-year suspended prison for five years on charges of \"propaganda against the system\" by the Revolutionary Court of Sna (Sanandaj).
