Kermanshah; Detention of a citizen by security forces

 On Thursday, February 10th, a 30-year-old citizen named Soran Mahmoudi, the son of Morteza from the village of Darvian in the Paveh district in Kermanshah province, was arrested by security forces.

 Security forces detained the citizen at the Kazanchi checkpoint in Kermanshah without issuing any court order and transferred him to the "Maidan Naft" detention center owned by the Kermanshah General Intelligence Office for interrogation.

 According to an informed source, Mr. Mahmoudi called his family only once after his arrest and confirmed his detention by security forces.

 The informed source added: "This citizen was deprived of access to a lawyer and a visit to his family during his detention, and so far the efforts of Mahmoudi's family to find out about the fate of Soran has been fruitless."

 No exact information is available on the reason for the arrest and the charges against this citizen.
