ISIS Opponents were shot in Sarpol Zahaw

Kurdpa Agency: In one of the cities within Kermanshah province, people associated with Islamic State formerly known as ISIS, shot at a Kurdish Citizen’s house.

According to Kurdistan Press Agency, some militants in Sarpol Zahaw shot more than 50 bullets at a Citizen’s garden, and this has raised concern within the local community.

Kurdpa reporter in Sarpol Zahaw has confirmed this attack and the fact that ISIS associates have shot more than 50 bullets at the garden of the house. The gun fire occurred from the roof of the house and they left the place immediately.

It is said, although the attackers identity are known, however they have threatened that the members of this atheist family have to be punished for their behavior.

The shooting did not caused any casualties, however two cars belong to the family were severely damaged.

A member of this family told Kurdpa that few days ago, a demonstration in support of Kobane and condemning Islamic Militants took place in which it was welcomed by Kurdish Citizens. The same resource believes that the reason for the shooting is related to the demonstration against ISIS .

The above mentioned assault on the border region in Kermanshah has occurred while the governor of Kermanshah had previously said that ‘’A group like ISIS can not make the slightest movement in Iran. He also said that the Security Forces would have control on the entire region particularly on Kermanshah.

The militants of Islamic State (IS) are now in a distance of less than 40 kilometers to Sarpol Zahaw. Until the announcement of this news, the identity of the attackers in Sarpol Zahaw’ has yet to be publicized.
