IRGC confirmed shelling the PDKI’s bases using artillery and UCAV

Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa): The news agencies of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Cyberspace confirmed the Iranian attacks on the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI) using artillery and unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAV).

“Following the attacks on the main bases of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI) by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the IRGC’s artillery shelled their bases in Halgord region a few hours ago which was followed by heavy attacks of IRGC’s UCAV Unions a few minutes after”, they said.

“Today’s attacks (Sunday, the 8th of September) was started at 12 p.m.; half an hour later IRGC’s UCAVs started shelling the Kudo mountains, located between Chomand and Piranshar (Piranshahr)”, they added.

While the IRGC’s agencies in Cyberspace says “the attacks left a few Peshmergas of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan severely injured”, the Central Command of Kurdistan’s Peshmerga Forces, in a statement, reported that only one of their Peshmergas was wounded in the Kudo mountains.

Today, Sunday, the 8th of September, the IRGC shelled the Kudo mountains, located in border regions of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and the Eastern Kurdistan (Iranian Kurdistan) using combat drones; they also heavily shelled the Saghar and Barbezin mountains using artillery.

The environmental damage caused by the attacks was significant.
