Kurdpa Agency: Iran’s Revolutionary Guards intelligence agency arrested and transferred two young Kurdish men to an unknown location.

According to reports received by Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa), Iran’s Revolutionary Guards intelligence office from the city of Mariwan has in the last several days arrested and transferred two young Kurdish men to an undisclosed location.

Amir Arzhnge, son of Mukhtar and Bassit Bshtam from the village of Nie - Mariwan have been identified as the two young men detained by Kurdpa’s reporter in the city.

Up until the timing of this report, the whereabouts of Mr. Arzhnge and Mr. Bshtam and the reasons for their detention are unknown.

According to the statistics recorded by Kurdpa, in the last year alone a total of 564 Kurdish political, and civil activists; as well as bloggers have been detained by the Iran forces and 119 people have been sentenced to prison.

The main perpetrators of human rights abuses and violations are the intelligence and security forces as well as the judiciary.

In Iran, different intelligence organisations and agencies including but not limited to the intelligence offices, the security and protection units of the Guards Corps are under the control of the Revolutionary Guards.

The \"Intelligence Corps\", \"The Data Protection Corps\" and \"Protection Corps\" are the three Iranian Revolutionary Guards agencies that are in charge of gathering and collecting information and are concerned with security.
