Iran shells the KRG aimed at hitting the PDKI’s bases

Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa): The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)’s artillery started shelling the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG)’s border regions once again.
According to our reporters, today, Thursday, September 6, the IRGC’s artillery started shelling the KRG’s border, mountainous regions, causing significant damage to the environment.
The IRGC’s artillery shelled heavily Sidakan and Choman regions putting a large number of forest cover on fire, our correspondent reported.
In a statement, the Central Command of Kurdistan’s Peshmerga Forces affiliated with the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI) announced: “The IRGC’s artillery was targeting the PDKI’s bases”.
On the 17th of July, the IRGC shelled Sidakan and Choman regions from consequence of which two PDKI’s Peshmergas, Rahim Sadtan, from Mahabad and Edris Darwishi, from Piranshar (Piranshahr) lost their lives.
