Iran imports decline by 8 percent

KURDPA: In the first two months of the Iranian year, started on Mar 21, the country’s imports have fallen by 8 percent, compared to the same period a year ago, to $ 8.2 bn.
The news agency ISNA referring to Iranian customs statistics says that the exports of non-oil products in the same time were $ bn 4.5, showing a decline of 6 percent.
Iranian economy is suffering from international sanctions and economists believe that major basic economic indexes of the country indicate deep crisis.
