Ilam; Sonia Sharifi is the first child sentenced to "enmity against God" in the recent protests

Sonia Sharifi, a 17-year-old child and a second-year high school student, was accused of "enmity against God" in the Ilam Revolutionary Court.

 According to a source informed to Kurdpa, Sonia Sharifi, who was arrested by the security forces along with beatings during the protests on November 19, 2022 in Abdanan city of Ilam, was accused and sentenced in the Ilam Revolutionary Court for "enmity against God".

 This informed source announced;  After her arrest, Sonia Sharifi was immediately transferred to the Ilam Intelligence Detention Center and is currently being held in the Ilam Youth Detention Center.  Also, despite the fact that bail was requested from her family, the prosecutor and Ilam's intelligence representative refused to accept it.

 This informed source added that this child was faced with heavy charges from the beginning, but they have announced to her family not to say anything about it and they will solve the issue themselves, but in the past two days, the family has been informed by the prosecutor and the Ilam intelligence representative with the order of  Tehran charged her with "enmity against God" and prevented her temporary release.

 This informed source stated that Sonia herself was also notified of this charge and sentence and she was told not to expect freedom.  Also, her case is being discussed between Abdul Wahab Bakshandeh, the prosecutor of Ilam, and Masoud Kargar, the prosecutor of Abdanan, and each of them says that it is not in my hand, but it is in the hand of another.

 This informed source pointed out that Sonia Sharifi was forced to confess about making Molotov cocktails and writing slogans during the interrogation.  Also, they have appointed a substitute lawyer for this child and despite introducing a designated lawyer, they have prevented his lawyer from accepting her representation.
