Hoshyar Shabani was sentenced to one year in prison

 A Kurdish citizen named Hoshyar Shabani, 27, son of Mohammad from Baneh, was sentenced to one year in prison by the Saqez Revolutionary Court in Baneh, presided over by Judge Akbar Mirzaei.

 The court sentenced the citizen to one year in prison for "propaganda against the regime" and acquitted him of "collaborating with one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government."

 This sentence was notified to this Kurdish citizen on March 12th. 

 The court suspended the execution of eight months of imprisonment of this citizen for five years and suspended the execution of eight months of imprisonment as a precautionary measure and announced that Mr. Shabani is required to introduce his courses to the Baneh Intelligence Bureau during the period of suspension and  Submitting the necessary certificate to the unit for execution of criminal sentences is the place of execution of the sentence.

 On Sunday, November 14, 2021, Hoshyar Shabani was released on bail pending trial.

 During his detention, the citizen was taken to Salahuddin Ayoubi Hospital due to stomach bleeding in the detention center of the Baneh Intelligence Office.

 Security forces detained and tortured Mr. Shabani at the detention center, who was bleeding profusely.

 The citizen was denied "access to a lawyer" and "family visits" during his detention.

 On Thursday, August 26th, the citizen was arrested by security forces without any court order.
