FOUR KURDISH ACTIVIST FACED BOTH, INTEROGATION AND PROSECUTION

Kurdpa agency: Iranian Islamic government judicial and security institutions have summoned and prosecuted four civilian and labour activists in Kurdistan.

According to Kurdpa news agency Sohrab Bahrami has been arrested by the intelligent office in Sanandaj. The condition of this 55 years old Kurdish citizen still cannot be confirmed even by his family.

It is also said that the security forces have arrested this civilian activist without any legitimate warrant. This arrest took place back in Jan 2015 and he was taken to anonymous location.

According to the campaign in support of political and civilian prisoners Bahrami’s family have tried to find out his current situation however they have reached nowhere. They don’t even know a possible accusation in which he might have faced.

Kurdish Labour activist has also faced summoned and prosecution. In this regard Sanandaj intelligent office has interrogated Mozaffar Saleh-Niya for two hours. He is a member of executive panel for Free Iranian Workers Union. He has been summoned by Sanandaj intelligent office within last few days. He was asked some questions related to workers activities.

On the other hand Tehran Revolutionary court branch 15th convicted Jalil Muhamadi. This Kurdish Labour activist is one of the organiser of making a statement which was undersigned by 40.000 workers. He is also within the six representatives of one thousand workers who protested against 300 billion Tomans embezzlement within Social Insurance Company. Iranian Islamic Judiciary has accused him of threatening National security. Jamil Muhammad –Zadeh alongside Jaffar Azim-Zadeh were arrested by security officers in their own house during the mid night in the Last April. They were detained in the cell number209 of Ewin prison for 23 and 46 days in order.

On the other hand during the end of last week a Kurdish activist named Rebowar Abdullahi was summoned and convicted by the branch one revolutionary court in Sanandaj. He is member of the committee for supporting labours institutions. He just after a short period of court was convicted and sentenced to one year chastising imprisonment.

Rebowar Abdullahi was detained on 20th last November and he was kept in custody for 20 days in the prison in Sanandaj. He was later was released on 70 million Tomans bail and was convicted on Wednesday Feb the 4th.

Arresting, interrogating and summoning members of labour’s institution are taking place while those workers who protest for not being paid, or not increasing their salary have been either sent to jail or been dismissed from work.

Due to a low rate payment which is under poverty line, labours in Iran are suffering the most in the history of country.
