Faraz Firouzi Mandomi: visiting to the security detention centers in Kurdistan will be a public demand and its legal mechanism will be followed up by parties and human rights organizations

Kurdpa Agency: So far, no international independent organization has not been authorized to inspect the detention of the intelligence agencies in Sanandaj.

According to a report by the Kurdistan Press Agency, Detention centers under the IRGC, the Ministry of Intelligence and the Police Command are among the most dreadful security detentions in Sanandaj.

Faraz Firouzi Mandomi, Ph.D researcher in comparative law at the University of Hamburg and human rights activist, told the Kurdpa Agency that the detention center at Shahramfar Provincial Base, the Super Security Detention Center known as the Officers Club, the Detention Center of Imam Ali\'s Sepah of Bayt-e-Al-Muqaddas of Kurdistan, is under the supervision of the IRGC.

He added that the detention center of the Shahramfar Provincial Headquarters is one of the most important and most dangerous detention centers in the old SAVAK site of Sanandaj in Khosrow Abad Boulevard. According to the information provided by the detention center, it is solely a solitary confinement cell, and the defendant is completely isolated from the time of entrance and does not even have the right to inform the family. The cells are about 6 meters long and have no suitable ventilation and any sanitary facilities inside the cell.

This human rights activist stated: The Super Security Detention Center is known as the Officers club. After the revolution, it is under the control of Revolutionary Guards. There is no precise information on the operation of this detention center that was established after the revolution.

According to Firouzi Mandomi, the detention center of Imam Ali Sepah Bayt-e-Al-Muqaddas of Kurdistan, which is mainly a location of military personnels and counterespionage.

He said about the detention centers under the supervision of the Ministry of Intelligence, According to the establishment of the Ministry of Intelligence after the revolution, the administrative building and detention center of the Kurdistan Ettelaat Bureau was established in 1990s on the property confiscated of the Sadegh Vaziri family, which has a significant area between Safari Avenue and Khosrow Abad Boulevard. According to available information, these detention centers are set up at a lower level of quality, and there are solitary and collective cells and also the toilets are inside the cells. The size of the individual cells is about 4 meters high with a 24-hour light on the lacing behind the window. Violence and physical harassment are heavily influenced by arrests.

Faraz Firouzi Mandomi emphasized that there is no accurate and official information from the Sanandaj security detention centers, and everything that exists based on the various narratives of the prisoners rescued from this dreadful and secret system.
