Execution of a prisoner accused of "murder" in Sanandaj prison

 Kurdpa Agency: In spite of the efforts of civil activists to obtain the consent of the victim's family, the death sentence of a prisoner accused of "premeditated murder" was carried out in the central prison of Sanandaj.

 According to a report released by the Kurdistan Press Agency, on Tuesday morning, October 1st, a prisoner accused of "premeditated murder", Rosgar Zandi, 27, was executed in the central prison of Sanandaj, and the efforts of the civil activists to obtain the consent of victim's family to prevent the execution was failed. 

 This prisoner killed his cousin Farzad Zandi three years ago in a family altercation and he was transferred to solitary confinement in Sanandaj prison on Thursday, September 26th.
