On Sunday, September 19th, a Kurdish citizen named Hassan Ghodrati, 45, son of Haj Khezr, a resident of Oshnovieh, was arrested by security forces.
The security forces arrested the citizen without issuing any court order and then transferred him to one of the security detention centers in Urmia for interrogation.
Mr. Ghodrati is married and has five children.
On the other hand, on Saturday, September 18th, a citizen named "Gharib Sharifzadeh" from Saqez was arrested by security forces and taken to an unknown location.
The citizen was detained without any court order and was beaten up by security forces during his detention.
Mr. Sharifzadeh was also sentenced to two years in discretionary imprisonment in Saqez prison in 2017 on charges of "collaborating with a Kurdish opposition party of Iran."
No exact information is available on the reason for the arrests and the charges against these two citizens.
