Detention of a Kurdish citizen while returning from the Kurdistan region

 On Wednesday, January 19th, a Kurdish citizen named "Arash Mohammadi", 32, son of Ahmad from the village of "Naji" in Sanandaj, was arrested by security forces while returning from the Kurdistan Region.

 According to an informed source, the security forces detained the citizen without presenting any court order while returning from the Kurdistan Region at the Bashmaq border, and then transferred him to the Sanandaj Intelligence Office for interrogation.

 The informed source added: This citizen has been working as a worker in the city of Sulaymaniyah in the Kurdistan Region.

 So far, the efforts of this citizen's family to find out about his fate has been fruitless.

 No information is available on the reason for the arrest and the charges against this citizen.
