Detention of a Kurdish citizen in Sanandaj

 On Monday, August 10, a Kurdish citizen named "Madeh Fathi", son of Mohammad from Sanandaj, was arrested by security forces.

 Security forces raided the citizen's private home in the Baharan town of Sanandaj without providing any legal permission and arrested him after searching his home.

 A relative of the Kurdish citizen told Kurdpa: "Security forces broke the door and window of this citizen while entering his private house."

 Sahar Kazemi, a civil and environmental activist and the wife of Madeh Fathi, was released from the women's ward of Sanandaj Prison at the end of her sentence on Thursday, March 12, 2020

 This civil activist was sentenced by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court of Sanandaj, headed by Judge Saeedi, to five years in prison in February 2019 on charges of "acting against national security." The sentence was reduced to twenty months in Branch 4 of the Sanandaj Court of Appeals.

 Sahar Kazemi was arrested by the intelligence forces on Thursday, August 9, 2018, and her mother, Mahvash Amiri, and her husband, Madeh Fathi, were also arrested on Thursday, November 15 of same year, after being summoned by telephone to the Sanandaj Ettelaat Bureau.
