Dehgolan; Mehdi Javanmardi was sentenced to 69 months in prison

Mehdi Javanmardi, a civil activist from Dehgolan, was sentenced to five years and nine months in prison by the second branch of the criminal court of this city.

 According to the verdict, this civil activist has been sentenced to 9 months in prison on "propaganda against the regime", to 18months in prison on "disturbing public order", to 42 months in prison on "gathering and collusion against national security". 

 This civil activist has been denied access to a lawyer during the proceedings and has tried in a court of several minutes via video conference.

 On Monday, September 26th, Mehdi Javanmardi was arrested by the security forces and after the interrogation was completed, he was transferred from the detention center of Sanandaj Intelligence Department to the prison of this city.

 Mr. Javanmardi is currently in Sanandaj Central Prison.
