Kurdpa - Counterfeit dollar bills have been appearing in Iran\'s markets on the heels of the dollar\'s rapidly increasing, Mehr news agency reports.

In recent days, loose liquidity has led to fluctuations in the currency market. In the face of greater demand for the dollar, counterfeit $100 bills have started to enter the market.

The fake bills are unfolded and are of such high quality that they go undetected by many experienced currency sellers.

Although large numbers of bills haven\'t been found, what is worrisome is their fine quality. Currency traders are also troubled by the possibility that the bills are coming into Iran from a neighboring country.

Licensed currency traders recommend the public buy dollars from reputable and licensed currency bureaus who are have machines that detect counterfeit bills.
