Kurdpa Agency: A Kurdish poet from the city of Malekshahi, in the central prison of Ilam, is still on hunger strike.
According to a report by the Kurdistan Press Agency, a Kurdish poet named Hossein Bagheri pen-name Zhakan Baran from Malekhshahi detained by intelligence agents on Wednesday, March 20th 2019, and he is still in detention and hunger strike.
this Kurdish poet has been on hunger strike since 21st march in protest of his arrest and detention in central Ilam prison.
One of the close associate of this Kurdish poet told to Kurdpa Agency that this Kurdish poet has been deprived from meeting with his family since his arrest.
On Wednesday, March 20th 2019, after the cancellation of the Nowruz celebrations in Malekhashi Ilam, Zhakan Baran, a Kurdish poet, was arrested by the intelligence forces and then transferred to the central jail of Ilam.
