As a result of landmine explosion a farmer died in Qasreh Shirin

Kurdpa Agency: Following a landmine (left over from 8 years Iran –Iraq war) explosion a Kurdish citizen died in Kermanshah province.
According to Kurdpa News Agency Ali Safari a citizen from Tengab Kohneh village within Qasreh Shirin region was killed as a result of landmine explosion.
An associate in Qasreh Shirin told the Kurdpa reporter that this Kurdish citizen involved in this incident while he was occupied with guarding in his own garden.
According to this associate Nour Ali Safari was killed after a farming shovel did contact with a landmine. He then severely injured on his left leg and ultimately he lost his life. The associate said, this incident took place on Saturday Feb the 14th in Naft Shahr Road nearby Zin-Alkesh checkpoint.
From Mid November 2011( Aban 1390) until current year 132 landmine explosion and other explosive left over from 8 years Iran-Iraq war have occurred around Qasreh Shirin. Subsequently 122 people have been wounded and another 13 have been killed.
Mehr News Agency had previously reported that within last ten years 126 people in Qasreh Shirin have lost their lives as a result of landmine explosion and undischarged ammunition left over from 8 years war.
According to local citizens removing landmine has been reluctantly done by the state institutions and they have removed and cleaned up as far as 30 cm deep down the land.
