Arrest of a Kurdish cleric in Piranshahr

On Sunday, October 4, a Kurdish cleric named "Mamousta Rasoul Hamzehpour" from the village of "Kharapeh" in Piranshahr and the imam of the village of "Andizeh" in Lajan district of Piranshahr were arrested by security forces.

 According to an informed source, security forces arrested the Kurdish cleric without issuing a court order in the three intersections of Piranshahr and then raided his private home.

 The informed source added: the security forces, after searching this cleric's house, transferred him to an unknown place.

 The informed source stated: This Kurdish cleric is one of the prominent clerics of Piranshahr and has been summoned and arrested many times by the intelligence agencies.
