Another Kurdish Kolbar border porter lost both eyes due to Iranian security forces blind shootings

Kurdpa agency: A Kurdish Kolbar (border porter, backpack carrier) from Shno lost his eyes due to direct shootings of the Iranian border forces in Piranshar, Kurdistan.

According to reports received by Kurdpa, on Wednesday Feb 22, a Kurd lost eyes due to direct shootings of the Iranian security forces on the borders of Piranshar.

Khalid Ahmadian, a 27-year-old son of Hassan, and father of two from the ‘Dagrji’ villiage in Shno is the latest victim of indiscriminate Iranian border security forces.

\"\"A source close to Mr. Ahmadian’s family reports that ‘Khalid Ahmadian, took up the Kolbar job to provide for his young family’. The source also states that ‘He came under direct shooting of the Iranian border security forces on the borders of Piranshar’.

The source, wishing to remain nameless due to fears of state persecution further states that Mr. Ahmadian lost his eye fights due to direct shootings of the forces.

The source also tells Kurdpa that ‘up until the timing of this report, no one has been charged or questioned for this tragedy’.

Mr. Ahmadian was transferred from the local hospital in Wrima to Tehran due to the severity of his medical condition and injuries, the source states.

Up until the timing of this report, no one associated with the direct shootings and injuries of Kurdish backpack carries working on the borders of East and South Kurdistan has faced any legal measures or brought to justice for their actions. The perpetrators of these crimes are protected by the regime under the name of ‘preserving and protecting the borders’.
