Kurdpa Agency: A young Kurdish man from the mergavar District was transferred to the Urmia Central Prison to serve his sentence.
According to a report by the Kurdistan Press Agency, on Monday, July 15th, a young Kurdish man named \"Majid Tibash\", son of Khalid, from Dizaj, Mergavar, Urmia , was arrested by judicial authorities and transferred to the prison of Urmia to serve his sentence.
in March, 2019, this young man was tried in district 3 of the Revolutionary Court of Urmia under the chairmanship of Judge Najafi and sentenced to five years imprisonment on charges of \"membership and promotion in favor of one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government.\"
After appealing to the trail court, this verdict was reduced to four years in prison.
On Thursday, March 18th, 2019, Majid Tibash was released from interim proceedings until the end of the trial.
This young man was summoned and arrested to the headquarters of Urmia Ettelaat Bureau on December 26th, 2018, on charges of \"contacting to one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government.\"
In 2012, this young man was deprived of education from the security of the Urmia Applied Scientific University due to the image of the Kurdistan flag on a background of the laptop and showed up at a scientific conference on the projector.
