A Kurdish student was struck by lightening

Kurdpa: A student from the Kurdish city of Maku was killed when lightening struck him on May 9, 2012.
Our sources reported from the city of Maku that the Kurdish under-graduate student, Ghotbadin Ebrahimi, from the village of ‘Kahriz’ in the suburbs of Maku was struck by heavy lightening which eventually led to his death.
Figures collected by Kurdpa show that in the last two months 13 people have lost their lives in the Kurdish areas of Iran due to various incidents, and the actual figures could be much higher.
