A Kurdish soldier has been arrested by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Shno

Kurdpa Agency: A Kurdish soldier from Shno was detained by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and transferred to an unknown location.

According to reports received by Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa), the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and intelligence agency detained a Kurdish solider from Shno, and transferred him to an unknown location in the past couple of days.

Kurdpa’s reporter from the city reported that Tahir Khorshidi, age 21 from Said Abad, Shno was detained by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards.

According to an informed source, the guards arrested Mr. Khorshidi on charges of “espionage and disclosure of secrets related to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards”.

Mr. Khorshidi is reported to have had access to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards intelligence computer servers.

Despite frequent follow ups by Mr. Khorshidi’s family to the Intelligence offices the whereabouts of their son is still unknown.

On Monday 29 May, Amir Payghami, another Kurd from Shno was detained by the intelligence police in civilian clothing, and his passport and personal belongings was also confiscated upon arrest.

After repeated follow-ups to the intelligence office by Mr. Payghami’s family, the whereabouts of their son is still to date not known.
