A Kurdish political prisoner sentenced to transportation to Ardabil Prison

Kurdistan Press Agency: A Kurdish political prisoner jailed in Urmia Central Prison was sentenced to transportation to Ardabil Prison.
According to reliable sources, on September 4, Hasan Galwani, a Kurdish political prisoner, from Naghada was transferred from Urmia Central Prison to Ardabil Central Prison which is tens of kilometers far away from home.
Hasan did not appeal against the conviction, based on a reliable source.
On the first of August, the Urmia Revolutionary court sentenced Hasan Galwani and another prisoner, Wahed Behbahani, son of Mostafa, from Piranshar (Piranshahr) to imprisonment serving far away from home on charge of “cooperation with the Kurdish opposition groups”.
According to the issued sentences, Hasan Galwani was sentenced to five years imprisonment and transportation to Ardabil Central Prison and Wahed Behbahani was sentenced to six years imprisonment and transportation to Gazwin Central Prison.
