A Kurdish citizen transferred from custody to Mariwan Central prison after 85 days

Kurdistan Press Agency (Kurdpa): a Kurdish citizen, from the city of Mariwan, was transferred from the custody of the Intelligence Service in Sna (Sanandaj) to Mariwan Central prison after 85 days on October 3.
According to reports received by our agency, Hooshyar Kasrayi, 41, son of Rashid, from Ne village in the city of Mariwan was transferred from the custody of the Intelligence Service in Sna (Sanandaj) to Mariwan Central prison. He had been held in custody before his transfer for 85 days.
He was arrested in charge of ‘cooperation with a Kurdish political, opposition party”. During his detention, he had been deprived of having access to a lawyer.
He was captured along with another Kurdish citizen, Wirya Faraji, 21, son of Abdollah on July 11, 2018.
Wirya Faraji has been temporarily released on 120 million toman bail until the day of his trial. He had been interrogated in the Intelligence Service’s place of detention in Sna for 34 days.
