A Kurdish backpack carrier lost his life after spending two days in hospital

Kurdpa agency: A Kurdish backpack carrier who had been involved in accident in mountainous area in Sardasht, died after spending two days in hospital.
Kurdpa News agency stated that on Monday Feb 14th 2017 Khalid Qaremani, a Kurdish backpack carrier fell off the high mountain in Alan region of Sardasht and he was severely wounded.
He was then transferred to hospital in Sardasht by the public in Baytoush village, however due to a sever injuries he was taken to a Hospital in Urmieh. He was allegedly sustaining from concussions .He was buried a few days ago in Naqadeh.
Backpack carrier is one of the most dangerous jobs. People in the Iranian Kurdistan are attracted to this job due to a lack of employment and having financial difficulty. This career in the border region has taken the life of many Kurdish people in Iran. Recent years many of backpack carriers have lost their lives because of falling off the high mountains, buried by avalanche, stepping over landmine and shot by the Iranian military forces.
