A detained Kurdish citizen transferred to Sanandaj Prison

Kurdpa Agency: A Kurdish citizen from the city of Saqez was transferred to Sanandaj Central Prison.

According to a report from the Kurdistan Press Agency, on Sunday, April 14th, a Kurdish citizen named, Yasin Kanani, from Saqez, was transferred to Sanandaj Central Prison after two months detention.

One of Kanaani\'s closest friend, confirming this news to the Kurdpa Agency and said he is waiting for a court session after he transferred to Sanandaj Prison.

He said the trial for the temporary release of Aso Ramezanzadeh, who was arrested along with Yasin Kanani, has requested a bail of 500 million Tomans.

Yasin Kanani was arrested by intelligence forces at the entrance to Saqez and was transferred to an unknown location during returning from Tehran at late February last year, along with Aso Ramezanzadeh, charged with \"supporting one of the Kurdish opposition parties to the Iranian government.\"

Yasin Kanani was arrested in 2016 on charges of \"supporting one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government\" and was released after 40 days of interrogation with 250 million Toman bails.

This Kurdish citizen was then sentenced to five years imprisonment by the Iranian government\'s judiciary and after appealing against the verdict, the decree was declined to three years in prison.
